How do I score points when playing?
Almost every action you take during a match either adds or detracts points from your overall score.
Here’s a full breakdown of how many points (pts) each action is worth:
- Stacking a card in the upper stacks: 100 pts
- Moving a card from the deck to the tableau: 20 pts
- Uncovering a new card in the tableau: 20 pts
- Reshuffling the deck: -20 pts
- Taking a card from the upper stacks back to the tableau: -100 pts
- Stacking a card in the tableau without uncovering a new card: 0 pts
- Undoing a move: reverts all points gained or lost from the previous move
Some game modes include extra ways to earn points. Always check the tournament rules for details when trying a new mode.
Once the match ends, either by clearing the board or submitting your score, your remaining time will be converted into Time Bonus using this formula:
Time Bonus = Base Score * Time Remaining / Max Time
For example, if your base score is 1000, and you finish the game in 60 seconds (leaving you with 240 seconds out of 300), your Time Bonus will be calculated as such:
1000 * 240 / 300 = 800
